MSN CIty Guide - Welcome to Hell (as part of an article about unusually named towns)

February 21, 2008 --  Rabbit Hash, KY and the Rabbit Hash General Store was featured in an article about US towns with unusual names and characteristics. Evidently we keep good company with other places mentioned such as: Hell, Michigan; Hot Coffee, Mississippi.; Toad Suck and Pickles Gap, Arkansas; Truth or Consequences, New Mexico; Tightwad, Missouri; and Chicken, Alaska. 

The Cincinnati Post - Flood of '37 Left Behind Collapsed Buildings, Mud

January 15, 2007 -- The flooded area completely covered Silver Grove, Melbourne, Brent, and Rabbit Hash, Ky. One local farmer, Frank Rouse, wrote in his diary, "Rabbit Hash washed off of the map." This turned out to be a slight exaggeration. The Rabbit Hash General Store had survived, though it was completely covered by water. Read the article.

Rabbit Hash, a Boone County hamlet long celebrated for its picturesque setting and its colorful characters, is the subject of a new 80-minute feature that a Los Angeles writer/producer is trying to sell to Hollywood.
