Richard\'s benefit

Richard & Terri,
It was an honor to come and play for you. I KNOW that all will be well. Faith and my prayers are with you. Terri, I know in my heart and in my gut that the info in this book should be followed to the letter and that it will benefit Richard. Remember, the body heals itself when freed of the task of digestion which takes the large majority of energy. You may have lost this information so I am sending it again. A Wonderful Day

It started out around 11:00 AM with DRB and me sitting on the front porch of the barn doing a little pickin'. It ended with me sitting in with the Kenton Co. Regulators till 12:15 AM. I played 4 gigs Saturday and couldn't keep from smiling all day. What a beautiful day and a wonderful event.

The day seemed to go off without a hitch. Many thanks to all those that volunteered and donated time and money.

It is so wonderful that so many people came out to support Richard and Terrie two of the sweetest people on the planet.

If anything like this happens again, count me in. I saw people that I hadn't seen in months and some even years. Rabbit Hash is truely the Center of the Universe.

FYI, the mandolin is a sweetie! wonderful tone! I will play it for years to come and always remember that Saturday in Rabbit Hash.

There is heart in Rabbit Hash

As Pure Serenity wrote--I too took lots of photos and other than maybe bumping into some folks while doing that---stayed pretty much in the background.
As I said in my previous post--this was one great event, blessed with some increbible late autumn weather, great food, awesome music and all of that--but the best thing about spending time down in Rabbit Hash--especially for an event of this sort---there was a great deal of spirit and heart evident--you folks down there are blessed to live in such a place or otherwise be part of it---Thanks for letting those of us not a regular part of your little corner of the world, be part of it for a time--it was a great event and a great weekend. smilies/cool.gif

WOW

Cannot even begin to express the range of emotion we felt. Nor how impressed we were not only by the turnout, great vibes and people but what a great job everyone did who worked planning and putting on this event. Wish we had heard about it earlier so we could have helped more! This was better run than any volunteer event I have ever been to. Living in a great community like Rabbit Hash has to give Richard a LOT of positive energy to fight this!

Pure Serenity

I have never been to Rabbit Hash, KY before, but, for two days - I made four trips back and forth - one hour each way but time was no object. Rabbit Hash, to me, is a place where the obnoxious rush of modern life can be left at home. I have never before felt so welcome, never seen such a true form of family value and respect as what lives beyond the city lights and a starbucks at every corner.

To Richard, Terri - My best and most sincere wishes. I did not get to introduce myself to many people, some may just remember me as the guy who took a bunch of pictures of the fireworks with the backdrop of the General Store.. I hope you can find good use for them. I was probably a quiet person in the background, but I was there supporting you - and you were supporting me. My mother has brain cancer and I had it as well (mine was removed early enough) - the benefit had a lot of meaning for me and it was important, for me, to be there I suppose. I'm positive, with seeing the support and love that the town has, that this will have a happy ending.

Thank you Richard

What a privilege it was to face paint this weekend for Richard's cancer fund. The entire weekend was so amazingly beautiful. Everyone was so loving and generous. Richard, you brought all these beautiful people together because you and Terri and Ruby have such big hearts and what goes around comes around!
The sites and sounds are some of my very best memories, ever. Thank you.

WOW, what a weekend!
Congrats to Scott for winning my mandolin in the silent auction.... I hope you enjoy many years of playing it.

And... ok.... I thought there were only 3 rocks, not 50. LOL ... very heavy.

Richard and Teri, we love you both.... hang in there.... we are here for you.

Great days!!!!

I finally made it down to Rabbit Hash--a place I call a little "slice of heaven." It has it all--a nice location by the river--interesting history--great people--great music---
I only wish I had found my way down there before this----the weekend was great and I hope that a decent amount of money was raised to help defer some of Richard's coming medical expanses.
Thanks for putting on the event--it was great-- and a pat on the back goes to all who contributed in some way to make it happen.
AWESOME FIREWORKS-I bet they heard those booms all the way to downtown Cincy!!
I'm feelin' happy!! Are ya'all feelin' happy??? I hope so!!!
