31st Annual Old Timers Day is September 4th 2010

01 August 2010

OTD2010.jpg Summer is in full swing in Rabbit Hash!! There are lots of new happenings down here on the banks of the mighty Ohio. We have a new barbeque joint in town and last week Elk Creek Winery opened a wine store across from the General Store.

We are whittling away the warm days and soon we will be saying farewell to summer with the 31st Annual Old Timers Day Festival on Saturday, September 4th, 2010 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM. This family fun event has something for everyone but mostly its just a nice time to spend all day in Rabbit Hash listening to live music and watching the river flow by.

We have a super line up of music this year; some familiar, some not. But don't miss any of these musicians...

12:00 PM - 12:30 PM Gunpowder Creek (old timey bluegrass)
12:45 PM - 1:15 PM Jake Speed and the Freddies (old timey train music)
1:30 PM - 2:15 PM The Downtown County Band
2:30 PM - 3:30 PM Michael McEntyre and the Marmalade Brigade
3:45 PM - 4:15 PM Kelly Thomas and the Fab Pickups
4:30 PM - 5:00 PM Keshvar Project
5:15 PM - 6:15 PM Magnolia Mountain
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM Whiskey Bent Valley Boys
7:45 PM - 8:45 PM Pure Grain
9:00 PM - 10:00 PM The Star Devils
10:15 PM - 11:00 PM Stone River Boys (from Austin, Texas)

Old Timer's Day is just around the corner so save the date and enjoy the rest of your summer.

It takes a lot of people to pull off a great event, and everyone did a great job!
