Even though several major floods have tried to take it away, the Rabbit Hash General Store still proudly stands since 1831. And what does it stand for? It stands for our heritage, for neighbors helping neighbors, for Kentucky spirit, art, culture, and innovation. In these modern times, the store demonstrates that what is time-worn is not always useless or old-fashioned... On the contrary, it is actually vital to our everyday lives.
Now we stand to lose this precious Kentucky icon... The back portion of the General Store's support is being compromised by the creek behind it and is slowly being washed away. But there is hope!
If enough people show how much they care about the General Store,
Hometown Helper will award Rabbit Hash a grant to make all the
necessary repairs. Simply visit the link below and post a comment. That's all you have to do!

I love Rabbit Hash and anyone having visited there knows the value of the store for the community. I hope that it is awarded the grant so that the store can take necessary steps to save it....and thus the community.
