Laurel and Hardy Evening of Fun

Print Email
17 November 2009

Laurel-and-Hardy.jpgGene Sorkin from Cincinnati's chapter of Sons of the Desert presented a fun filled evening of Laurel and Hardy's funniest films here in Rabbit Hash. We had popcorn and a big screen set up in the barn. The best and most rewarding part of the evening was a little fellow in the front row laughing his heart out. It was hard not to have your heart warmed by his laughter that echoed out onto the street.

A big thanks to everyone that helped pull it together. They have agreed to come back and show us some more funny flicks in the spring. It was a great evening for modern kids in an old town watching old movies. Hope to see you there next time.

Motorcycle Rider
I rode on my first motorcycle Camping trip with my father and some friends from Terre Haute, IN this past July. We camped at Gen. Butler in Carrollton, KY and visited Bone Lick ST. Park and Rabbithash, KY. I think the best part of our little trip was visiting Rabbithash, KY. It might be a really small town, but it has a big heart and a cool atmosphere about it. Certainly the old general store is a pretty neat attraction with a lot of history along the river.I had a chance to take my wife to Rabbithash this past October, she really enjoyed herself. By the way my father is a Plumber by trade and he thought your Buck and Doe theme public restrooms was a pretty neat idea. We are planning another motorcycle trip next year maybe see you soon.
