You may have heard about the "Shoot Out in Rabbit Hash"... But if you weren't there, you really missed an exciting time. No, there's been no violence, no guns, and certainly nobody is hurt. But there's been plenty of sharp shooting going on around here. I'm talking about the Antonelli College Photography Student Exhibit put on by the Rabbit Hash Historical Society down at the Lowell Lee Scott Visual Art Center (in the barn) last week.
I went down on the final day for a private showing. WOW. These students
really captured Rabbit Hash. The photos were the result of a day trip
they took here. It was interesting to learn that some of the students
had never visited here before, while others had never even heard of our
little haven by the river. But it didn't really matter as each future
professional found their own unique way of expressing the day's
experience.
Also featured was more of Mary Ellen Pesek's amazing garden
arrangements. I first observed her unique talent at the "Inspired by
Art" exhibit back in June. Picturesque is the word that comes to mind when I think of Mary Ellen's work, so it was only fitting that her art was included in the show.
I took photos of the exhibit that you can view here:
