On Saturday, April 28th from 8:30 AM-12:00 noon, the Rabbit Hash Historical Society will again be participating in The Great American Clean Up, in partnership with Boone County Kentucky Public Works Department, Solid Waste Management team. We will be picking up trash beginning at the Rabbit Hash General Store and heading downriver along Lower River Road as far as we can go until noon. The Cash For Trash program will donate to the Rabbit Hash Historical Society $100 for every mile of trash clean-up. We need volunteer helpers.
Bags and 'trash tools' will be provided at the store at 8:30 AM. The more volunteers who sign up and help, the better looking the beautiful Ohio River shoreline in our neighborhood will become, and the county will donate 'cash-for-trash' to the non profit 501-c-3 Historical Society.
Please join us. Pass the word around to your family and friends. Let's all Dash to the Rabbit Hash Trash for Cash Bash.
Contact Mary Shinkle at 334-3151 for further questions or for other participating Boone County trash pick up routes and locations for The Great American Clean Up.
