I had the pleasure of visiting your great little community and store about 3 weeks ago while on holidays from Australia. Friends of mine from Erlanger KY first introduced me to Rabbit Hash on my last visit to USA 3 years ago, so when I came back with my wife and elderly mother and Aunt right up on the agenda was a revisit to Rabbit Hash. 
 
Friendliness and a willingness to talk to strangers seems to be a way of life in Rabbit Hash and therefore the area's charm goes beyond the old buildings and weatherboards, but goes to the core of Kentucky hopitality. We were particularly struck by a box in one of the shops that said "Lunch Time. Put money here" and had an arrow pointing to a hole in the box. Oh, it also showed how to calculate you tax. I am pretty well travelled, but I have never seen anything like that before anywhere else in the world!  
 
I will be back. It might be a year or 4, but I will return.
